My name is Craig Schober, the founder and driving force behind this venture. My journey in the world of racing began in 2005 with junior dragsters, marking the inception of a dream that has grown into a professional endeavor. Over the past decade, I have honed my skills as a dedicated bracket racer, competing across various tracks in Illinois, Indiana, Alabama, and Florida. My racing career has evolved from the Sportsman/Street class to the competitive arena of Super Pro, piloting my 1967 Dodge Coronet, and achieving victories in each class.

Throughout my racing career, I’ve been fortunate to meet numerous individuals who have significantly contributed to my growth. The skills I’ve acquired, ranging from engine building to welding, electrical wiring, painting, and general fabrication, are largely self-taught and enriched through shared experiences within the racing community. My expertise predominantly centers around Mopar/Chrysler racing products, especially big block Mopars, which have been a cornerstone of my success.

Post my tenure in the Air Force, I expanded my horizons by joining Hardway Performance, a leader in high-performance diesel parts. This collaboration, particularly working alongside Ryan Milliken and the team, has been instrumental in deepening my understanding of diesel mechanics. Over time, I have amassed extensive knowledge in enhancing diesel-powered trucks to meet varied horsepower goals.

The vision for Schober Motorsports is twofold. Firstly, to impart my racing wisdom and expertise in going fast, especially to those passionate about Mopar or diesel trucks. Secondly, to offer top-tier parts and guidance necessary for our clients to achieve their racing objectives. Drag racing is a challenging and demanding sport, but it is the depth of knowledge and the strength of relationships that set one apart from the competition.
