Completed Projects
Check out our completed projects over the years! Everything from fabrication work, to engine building all the way to diagnosing electrical issues and re-wiring and so much more!
Engine Assembly and installation
This was one of the coolest projects I’ve ever been a part of! South Florida’s own Cleetus McFarland (Garrett Mitchell - “Hell Yeah, Brother!”) needed a reliable 340 engine for his burnout competition Duster, known as "Corn Cob".
Working alongside Keech’s Machine Shop and Rod Shop Sarasota, we assembled and configured a drop-in ready Mopar 340 long block and prepared the car for competition. The prep work included installing all-new gauges, fuel system, and ignition system to ensure it could handle the punishment ahead.
We completed the entire project right at the Freedom Factory, using their tools and equipment to make it happen. (Thank you!!) The result? The Corn Cob ripped through two full minutes of 5,500 RPM in the burnout competition — and held together!!!
Engine Builds
Here's an example of a WELL SEASONED 440 Mopar block that was turned into a 700+ horsepower bracket motor. This is this actually in the shop car and runs 9.70's in a 3450 lb 1967 Dodge Coronet. This entire engine was spec'd out by Schober Motorsports. Check out the build series and more info on my 505 combo HERE! Interested in a engine build for your street or race vehicle? Give me a shout!
6.7 Cummins Head Stud Install
Here's an example of doing head studs on a 2016 Ram 3500 6.7 Cummins. We only recommend ARP fasteners on all of our builds! No budget brands here!
5.9 24V Cummins Valve Springs & Turbo Replacement
Here's an example of changing out head studs, valve springs, injectors, push rods, harmonic balancer and belt on a 1998.5 24V Cummins. We also replaced the turbo and added a exhaust brake, it was a certified rig after we were done with it!
Mini Tub B-Body Mopar
Here's an example of a installing mini tubs on a B-body Mopar. The springs were also moved in 3" inches for the 29.5/10.5-15 rear radials. I did a write up on it years ago on forbbodiesonly.com, link to that thread is HERE.
Moser M9 Rear End Install
Here's an example of installing a Moser M9 rear end in a B-body Mopar. This was a 100% custom housing that was measured using the rear wheels in place and measuring the width and offset needed for proper fitment. Once installed, we also set the proper pinion angle based upon vehicle use and type of rear suspension. We also had to add clearance to the rear brace for the factory located shocks.
Big Block Chevy Cylinder Head R&R
Here's an example of removing and replacing a set of head gaskets on a Big Block Chevy. We had to have the heads re-done as the valves were quite loose and it was about time for a freshen up! This engine is in a Diamond dragster and runs 4.70's in the 1/8 mile.
K-Member Change Out
Here's an example of upgrading a entire front suspension for a B-Body Mopar! We changed out the K-member and all components with a QA1 front coil over kit! With the change of spindle, this allowed many more options for front brakes in the market! This also made installing headers on this B-Body Mopar SO MUCH EASIER with the original factory torsion bars removed.
Paint and Body Work
Here's an example of a customer that came to me with a 1969 Pontiac GTO that needed body work and a repaint. Tons of work when into this car, but that first time the orange hit that sun... It was perfect!
Complete Rear End Swap on Ram 3500
Here's an example of swapping out a complete rear end on a 1998.5 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually... Customer wanted to go from 4.11's to 3.73's for added MPG. This thing was HEAVY! Another project completed!
Fabrication of trans mount & fore/aft limiters
Here's an example off the shop car. Going from a 727 Torqueflite to a Powerglide. At the same time, we were going with an engine plate that required "Fore/Aft" limiters to ensure the engine/trans combo couldn't move forward or back while under acceleration/de-acceleration. Angle of the transmission assembly was also considered when completing this project.
Re-Wiring a Race car
Here's an example of building an entire "control center" for a ignition system complete with the appropiate amount of relays, fuses, and gauge of wire. No matter if its street or race, we can wire it!
Below is another example of wiring up a car. This was another race car example as no turn signals/horn/headlights etc were needed.
Brake Work
Here's an example of custom built brake line system using two "Line-Locks", an aftermarket Master Cylinder and Propositioning valve with custom made lines. All lines and flares fabricated IN HOUSE!
We also installed front and rear TBM brakes on this car.
Gen III Hemi Camshaft Swap
Here's an example of replacing a camshaft on a 6.4 Hemi that had the dreaded lifter tick. We installed a bigger street cam and did some quick tuning to get it all working right! We also changed out the stock oil pump for an aftermarket high volume pump to keep those lifters fed!
10 Point Rollcage Install
Based on customer requirements, this 1989 Mustang got a 10 point cage & various fabrication work done. This cage passed NHRA inspection for 8.50 chassis certification.
